Albert Pike Chapter No. 58 is sponsored by San Antonio Council No. 5 Knights of Kadosh, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. The Council of Kadosh has jurisdiction over the 19th through the 30th Degrees of the Scottish Rite. The Degrees of Scottish Rite Masonry in the Council of Kadosh are Philosophic and Chivalric in character. The Scottish Rite Degrees are a continuation and expansion of the three Blue Lodge Degrees. They enable the initiate to grasp with greater significance the real purpose and meaning of Masonry. The Council of Kadosh is presided over by the Sir Commander.
